FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Magika does not have any Bloggers at this time. While I appreciate your interest, please never send us unsolicited Blog applications. Make sure you keep an eye out for publicly announced searches either via one of our groups which can be found on the "Join" page, or on one of the social media outlets on the "News" page.

While I rarely accept invitations/offers I always read them and check if they make sense for Magika, and work alongside preexisting commitments. So I hope you don’t get discouraged from contacting me again if I decline or don’t respond.

This means the vendor has a group discount. To enjoy the lower price option you need to wear the "MAGIKA Hair" group tag while making your purchase. If you paid the wrong price please see the question below.

If you weren't wearing the group tag while paying the discount price, you will have been automatically refunded straight away. If you accidentally paid the full price while wearing the group tag, you will have been automatically refunded the difference.

Yes. There is a redelivery terminal at the Mainstore that has recorded all your purchases (both Marketplace and Mainstore) from Nov 6, 2015 and onwards. Any products purchased prior to this date cannot be redelivered and no longer qualify for any level of customer support.

This is called a “root prim” which houses the script that lets you customise your hair via the HUD. When you purchase a hairstyle from Magika the root prim is hidden inside your head. But since a lot of hairstyles are made out of rigged mesh (which you cannot re-position using the edit tools) you will only successfully move the root prim if you attempt to re-position your whole hairstyle. In short, you’ve accidentally moved the root prim out of it’s hiding place. To fix this you can either use the edit tools to move it back inside your head, or grab a fresh copy from the redelivery terminal.

No, however I am always open to suggestions. Feel free to message Sabina Blakewell in-world with descriptions or image links. Please don't send any notecards, as these get overlooked.

No. Due to the volume of requests I had to stop offering changes altogether. Everything sold at Magika is only sold as is without exception.

If it can be resized it will say on the ad picture.

What sizes are included with each product will vary from hair to hair. So your size option may be back with the next release, even if it's been missing for a little while.

Only if you've accidentally purchased multiple copies of the same product. This is why it's important to always try the free demo provided with each product prior to paying for it.

Due to the increase in feature complexity and script optimisation, many object attributes must remain untouched to avoid breaking overall functionality. This paired with a significant decrease in things you can change with modify permissions meant it was no longer feasible to offer modify permissions. Example: Modify permissions no longer allows you to change the textures or materials, as these are made with a custom layout made specifically for the hair. You're also unable to remove, hide, or move, any individual hair strands as hairstyles are now one object with one object face. Note that this is not a complete list of things you can no longer change in-game on Magika hairstyles.

Yes, there are a multiple ways. You can gift through the vendors at the Mainstore by right-clicking on the Buy button and selecting Touch/Menu. You can also gift via the Marketplace, or you can let the recipient choose their own hairstyles by sending them a gift card. These can be purchased at the Mainstore.

If you've been given a gift card with a L$0 balance this means the person who purchased it failed to activate it. You will need to give the gift card back to the person who bought it, and have them wear it to activate it.

Feel free to send Sabina Blakewell a message in-game asking where it’s from. Please don't send any notecards, as these get overlooked.
